OB 15 (HD)

Digital High Definition OB Truck, 12 camera's max.

CINEVIDEOGROUP’s OB 15 is a state-of-the art, very flexible mid size HD OB truck. This multi- purpose truck is designed to cover music shows, sports and other live events.
OB 15 is equipped with Sony HDC-1500 High Definition cameras, connected by optical fibre. However, conversion to use of triax cabling is very easy, so that we can continue to use existing cabling at venues. If a Super Slomo is required, the Sony HDC-3300 is available upon request.
As OB 15 is fully ‘transparent’, programmes can be produced in High Definition (in all existing HD formats), as well as in Standard Definition. This truck is equipped with the Sony MVS-8000G multi-format video switcher and the Sony MVS-8000A digital effects generator, which makes for an ideal combination.

The VTR in OB 15 has room for 6 EVS hard disk machines and 6 HD / SD beta’s. However, the EVS hard disk machines can be swapped for beta’s, so that up to 12 recording devices can be hooked up. Alternatively, the VTR room can be used as a full fledged second production room for an additional smaller studio programme, or to produce on-screen presentations.

All monitoring in OB 15 is done using 24 and 37 inch PENTA HD2-line flat screen monitors, driven by Evertz multi-viewers (4, 8 and 12 input). Intercom is provided by TELEX Coronus and all routing is by use of the Grass Valley Trinix SD / HD 96 x 192 router.
The audio room hosts a Lawo Mc²66 audio mixing console, Pyramix multi-track equipment and state-of-the art audio monitoring (Dolby 5.1 if required). Therefore, no separate audio unit is required when OB 15 is used at a concert.
